Shifter (2004 - 2021) convened public dialogues and produced publications exploring themes at the intersection of contemporary art, theory and experimental writing.

Shifter’s 11th issue Intimate (2008) attempts to re-route mechanisms of connectivity: seeking to complicate notions of proximity, interiority, and attachment by inserting the concept of intimacy into a different economy of associations — one pertinent to the shifting language of globalization and its post-colonial realities.
